UF had no written campus update. Dr. Kim Tanzer gave a brief verbal report in which she reported: on UF’s shared governance process with its five councils (Academic Policy, Budget, Research Academic Infrastructure, and Academic Well-Being); on a new Faculty Senate newsletter called Academics; on their Sustainability Committee that was looking at economy, ecology, and social equity; on a student/faculty summit; and on the issues of indirect cost return on research, on the misuse of alcohol on campus, and on the attainment of domestic partner benefits.
