University of North Florida Campus Report, January 13, 2006

Dr. Judy Solano provided the following report:

The University of North Florida has little to report, at this time. Little has occurred since we last reported.

Collective Bargaining

It was announced on Thursday, January 12, that an agreement has been reached. A raise package covering the last three years is reported to be in the neighborhood of 10%. Presumably the final agreed upon contract will soon be published and we will begin the process of ratification by the faculty and approval by the BOT.

Provost Search

Our relatively new Provost (in office approximately one year) has stepped aside to pursue other interests. We are currently ramping up to search for and select another Provost.
